I-485
Hello everyone,

Please share your experience who filed January 2019? Mine is still scheduled for an interview since March 27, 2019. No update yet as of today. Can I submit a query to USCIS online?

Your input is highly appreciated. Thank you very much.

Traveling on Advanced Parole
Hello,

I recently traveled using my EAD/AP combo card and had no problems at all!

I showed the immigration officer my card along with my passport, and another officer came to take me into a room. I sat in the waiting area while another officer went through my file and I was on my way within 10 minutes.
I've read experiences where persons said the room was cold. I went through Miami, and did not experience any of that. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant.

**
I traveled with all of my notices just to be safe.
I traveled with all of my EAD cards.
I traveled with all of my I-20 forms & I-94.
You can never be too prepared.

Someone from Norfolk VA
I guess the timeline depends from where the office is, my case is MSC and I submitted the forms from Norfolk Virginia.

Please share your timeline :)

Rescheduling Interview Experience
I requested to reschedule my interview due to travel. When I initially wrote the post a month ago, I got some negative feedback but I wanted to share my timeline:

Received interview notice: July 3rd
Called USCIS to request to reschedule: July 3rd (got a reference number)
Received updates under case history on my account and an email (refer to previous post): July 5th
Received letter from field office stating they received my request to reschedule and a new interview notice will be sent: July 18th
New interview notice: July 25th

**The time between the initial interview that I rescheduled, and my new interview date was 13 days**

I had no problems coming back into the country either. I showed the officer my EAD/AP combo card, he took me into a room, had another officer check my file, stamped my passport and I was on my way. It took all of 10 minutes.

Need clarification on EAD notification
This morning I received and email that the EAD is being produced but the i131 status still shows case received 3/8/19. Will we mostly likely only get the EAD soon and no AP?
Anyone with similar experience?
