Additional Correspondence?? please help
Hi Guys, I had my I485 interview with my wife (USC) on the 24th of April, 2014 and everything was fine. The IO told us we gonna get the GC in the mail in 2 weeks and gave us a white printed paper that says recommended for approval. We never got the GC. We made infoPass apt, made an SR and made another SR with a level2 officer two days ago who said everything was fine and he doesn't understand the delay because its almost 90 days. He even said he was gonna contact them to release the GC immediately but then, USCIS send me an email today saying,
"Your petition/application is still pending consideration, and the Officer is preparing to send you additional correspondence, that you will receive in the coming weeks. We regret that we are not able to give you a timeframe for when we will complete the review of your petition/application." can anyone please tell me what this means regards the additional correspondence? Thank you

WHAT A DAY!!!!!!!!
I want to thank all for your condolences God bless y'all.
I went yesterday got all my info from lawyer & he wrote a letter he told me my flie was at 26 federal plaza. got death cert & was waiting on mom birth she couldn't find it before she left.I told her i'll try still if not i'll wait on fax. I got there 7:30am the lady said I need it not to leave the building go to the store acosrs the way get fax there.I finally got it at 10:41am went back to the first fl got my tic to go to 3rd fl only for them to tell me my case is in Newark, I asked are you sure? I was told its here she went to check again she said yes. I got on 4 train 1 stop then on path 5 stops. I got to Newark went to get my tic I explained what transpired few hours ago she said why NY didn't do it up there have you go through all that just to send me over here I'm like ok then. I gave the lady all my info she said sorry for your loss will approve you for 1 trip since i came in person she asked for fees told her all was waived gave her my 797s.she came back to the window asking if I ever filed a GC I said no or if I'm a USC i said no. I said wait a minute now I have a twin don't mix us up she's a USC. she went and check and said yes they did she was so sorry etc she said its not the they can't fix it call the 800 I called they say if the filed office couldn't help they can't over the phone I must write to VT she couldn't tell me if my case was there or not. I told her I know its there & my check came back 6/8 & some T2 gave me info & some dont I had to blast her she said to write to clear up. no wonder I'm delayed.
HAHAH NYC fliers one the officers was dozinng off sat his desk with 1 hand on the mouse & the comp WORK INDEED!
WHEN GOD OPEN DOORS NO MAN OR THING CAN CLOSE IT IN JESUS NAME!!
