I-485 I-130 approval times
I want to tell you my story. In January 2018, my wife and I were interviewed at Federal Plaza. We met a rather irritated officer. In short the interview went badly I can say. Until July 2021, we had no response. We approached Congress and were called to the G-56. The second time a very good officer met us and asked us how our first interview went. Of course we told him what was the truth. He asked us how my wife and I met, where we live, who pays the rent, where I work and so on. The officer told us that mistakes were made in the i-130 form and he corrected it with a red pen. Friends I have been unanswered for 3 years precisely because of these mistakes. As soon as we left the interview, I received a message within 1 hour that I was satisfied with the i-130. Exactly one week later, I received a message that the i-485 was approved. I want to say that it matters a lot what kind of officer you have. Sorry if I can not speak English well but I hope you understand what I said. Good luck to everyone. God bless everyone!

I-485/ I-130 Pending since 6 months after AOS Interview
We have been waiting for a decision since our AOS Marriage based interview which was 04/07/2021 at 2:30 PM at SPM Field office. Until now no decision is made by USCIS. Below is our time line:

PD: 02/20/2020
EAD Approved and received by 09/2020
AR-11 filed: 10/2020 moved from WI to FL we moved due to a Job.
AOS Interview: 04/07/2021
EAD renewed: 08/2021 (expedited request) through congress

I have submitted 3 SR service request on three different occasion (months) and the first one came back with “Under extended review” second “Under extended review with an officer” and the third “Now your case is undergoing required background check”
Also I have contacted the Congress office and they have been trying to get an answer for the past 4 months but no luck. I have made a FOIA request and it came back with the I-130/ I-484 stamped approved but it was crossed out and Error was was written on it also some document of some sort have an approved ticked in the box but I don't know what that means.

It has been a long Journey and it is stressful, I own business in Orlando FL and my Employees are US Citizens, I work in a Managerial level for a major construction company for one year now and I never in my life was arrested, no felonies or never went to court, no DUI or any sort of trouble in my life, and thats in all countries I lived in (Jordan, Qatar, UAE, USA) I dont have even a single traffic ticket in the US, I have a stable career 14 years and I have brought transferred my life savings when I got married and me and my wife opened up successful businesses (retail shops and a Consultancy firm) we have never requested government assistance of any sort and we have an excellent credit score. We are happily married and everything is perfect.

Now im stressing and thinking that we should have not invested here since I don't have an answer if we will be staying in this country as i cant predict USCIS’s decision. Your feedback will highly be appreciated. Thank you people and God Bless!

Missed ASC Appointment
Hi,
This is in regard to USCIS Appointment Notification I missed to receive on time, I actually
received it in mail on Sept 20, 2021 for Appointment 09/09/2021.

During the time when the letter was mailed, I was with my in-law's family in california and
returned back to my home on Sept 19, 2021 because of which I failed to receive the
appointment notification on time and missed my appointment.

During that time I was continuously monitoring my online status of my case and online it still
shows as “June 24, 2021 Response To USCIS's Request For Evidence Was Received”
and not updated regarding next step, I have also sent my neighbor to check the mail but till
that time mail was not there.

what can be done at this time? Are they going to consider my request abandoned or denied?

Bring form i864 at interview.
I received my interview notice and it is mentioned that i need to bring (if required a completed form i-864, affidavit(s) of support, with all required evidence (unless already submitted).
I’ve submitted the form i-864 from my joint sponsor. Do i have to take the form and supporting evidence again at my interview to be on safe side or I should not worry if it’s already submitted.
Thanks

Going thru a divorce 2 years after interview without a green card
I had my first interview in February 2019, we were separated and we didn't miss out any questions. Not even one. We had second interview in august 2020, it was centred on our joint sponsor . I don't know what issue they have but we were separated again and we didn't miss any questions . We got a print out and our answers are exactly the same . They have tons of evidence from the day we met. It's been almost 2 years now of PD, 2 interviews , 2 congressional enquires, 2 service request , I only get the same generic response l.

My wife and i are going through a lot of issues and she relocated to a different state, we got separated this year in April and I filed for divorce in July. I have the transcript from the divorce, and I have 28 days to sign and finalize the divorce. I intend to start my life over , I refuse to stay in an unhappy abusive marriage because I want to hang in there for a stupid greencard. And no, I don't keep any evidence so I can't even file for vawa. How long should I wait after the divorce get finalize before getting married again . And will I need to withdraw this case or just file a new one when I am ready next year .
