How long did it take
Hi fam, I’m new to this forum but would like to know if there’s a high chance that I will get my EAD/AP combo card by December 2021 if my PD was July 2021. Currently I have only received a receipt the same month July 2021. I really need to travel by December for family reasons. Is there any way to expedite it?
Thank you

I-130, I-485 and I-601 Approved after 3 months of interview at Fresno FO
Hi everyone,
 This is my story:
I came to the US on June 2017 on a visitors visa. I came to take a veterinary medical exam. In the same year, I met my ex wife. We got married and she filed for me. Things didn’t work out good so we got divorced in 2018. Meanwhile my case was pending at the Sacramento FO after second interview. They made a home visit and I told them we were separated. They seized on that opportunity and frequently called my ex, encouraging her to withdraw the petition. She did and I was denied and asked to leave the country. I was emotionally torn apart but I survived. In 2019 I met my current lovely lady. We started dating and eventually got married in 2020. She filed for me on February 2020, at Fresno field office. I filed the form I-601 because the attorney in my home country(Nigeria) put my information as a medical doctor going to take a medical licensing exam in the US, when actually I’m a veterinarian and I was going for veterinary licensing exam. He mixed things up. I found out late but I decided to go with it anyways(my mistake, I shouldn’t have). So that amounted to misrepresentation/visa fraud. So I decided on my own, with no attorney to file for the Waiver.
Feb, 21, 2020 uscis received my application
March, 2020, the reused my previous fingerprints cuz of the pandemic.
April, 2020, RFIE
April 14th 2021, interview scheduled.
May 18th, 2021, we went to the interview at Fresno field office. We were not separated physically but we were given a paper and pen and we were asked to back each other and write our answers without saying it. We got 99 percent right because we live together. I wasn’t expecting on-the-spot approval because of the many complications surrounding my case.
July 2021, uscis visited my father in-law’s house which was were we lived before moving out. They asked him some questions about me and he answered honestly. the following day they visited our apartment complex and talked to the office about us. The apartment manager told them what he knew about us. They didn’t come to our apartment, to my knowledge unless our landlord took them in without our knowledge. But they spoke with my wife and I on the phone. I was at work and my wife was home when they called.
August 9th, 2021, I contacted ombudsman and submitted a service request for outside of normal processing time.
August 27th 2021, New card is being produced.
August 30th 2021, all three forms approved.
September 1st 2021, they sent out the mail containing my card, usps picked it up same day and they provided the tracking number. Meanwhile, I stopped checking my status cuz I thought that I would get an email if and when they approve my case(I was wrong). I got to know about the approval on the 31st of August when chatting with a live agent through Emma. They wrote “uscis sent you approval letter yesterday” I couldn’t believe what I was reading!

Thanks to each and everyone of you in this Amazing Forum.
I wish everyone of you good luck with your cases.

No word since interview - Sac FO
Hi All! We had our interview on August 4th. The IO was nice and the interview went well. He did mention that we might get an RFE as my name on the birth certificate was missed (common in India) but he wanted to check with supervisor to confirm. But since then, we haven't heard anything. Any advice on what can we do to get any information on the case status? I am sure we can't raise an SR as it is not a full 30 days yet since the interview.

I see other Sac filers getting their interviews scheduled which is awesome cause it means they are processing the cases! All the best to all of you!!

Interview
Hey fam, please any help will be useful here. I’m trying to figure out if anyone has my experience or have an advice for my situation.
I’m going to rewind from where it started.

2015- married to a usc
2016- submitted case file
2017- went for an interview. The interview didn’t went well and my best guess would be because we don’t provide enough evidence. We were scheduled for second interview 8months later and the marriage is being crashing due to domestic violence. She kicked me out of the house and I don’t have access to anything. When it’s time for second interview, she never gave me the notice and unfortunately, I missed the second interview which is labeled stokes interview. The case eventually got denied.

Fast forward to the present moment.
I met my new wife and the marriage is great. After we got married, We decided to refile again and here is my timeline.
 March 23 2020- case received
August 31 2021- interview.

My interview experience, the interview went well and take less than 10mins. The officer said the interview was approved but I had a case about stoke interview few years back and I admitted it’s true. She said she would have approved me right away but I need to prove that my previous marriage was real and also explain why I didn’t make it to the interview. She said this is not a deny she just need it in my case file. The way she said it is so simple and easy but my instinct is telling me there’s more because all she asked was for me to just write an affidavit explaining what happened.
Please I need some advice with someone that has this experience and advice with someone who doesn’t.

Asked for Passports/Driver license, supporting docs and advanced parole. Didn’t ask for anything else. Status changed to card being produced before we got home. Good luck everyone! Thank you for being supportive through this journey. She said ill get 10 years. We’ve been married for 5 years.
