Good evening all!
I wanted to give a quick update on my case. I was the petitioner for my husband’s AOS.
Field Office: Oakland Park, FL
Processing date: July 25th 2019
Biometrics date: August 25th 2019
Case ready to be scheduled for interview: December 6th 2019
EAD card being processed: December 18th 2019
EAD and Parole received: December 28th 2019
Interview Scheduled: January 2th 2020
Interview: February 20th 2020
The interview was very simple. The IO barley asked us any questions, he reviewed our supporting documents. Acknowledged that it was a good thing that we had been married for 3 years and we waited to submit. Went over the yes/no questions and verified our address and phone number. Choose about 15 pictures to put in our file as well as bank statements, services, car insurance.
The entire interview was in Spanish since he was hispanic and he just started in spanish so we replied back in spanish! No questions on how our relationship, just our wedding!
He approved us at the spot and case updated to card being produced about 30 minutes lates.
We were really lucky!!
