Thanks to Immihelp all other members for the experience.
My parents were granted a 10yr visa at Mumbai consulate. All questions were asked to my father while mother was not asked anything.
My father was asked questions related to his work prior to retirement. He travelled a lot on job trips so was asked the reasons for so much travel. Was later asked about son-in-law's work & how many other children he has & where they are. 2 officers questioned him.
No other documents besides I-134 was seen.
From what I understood from my father is that the key is to be confident while talking to the officers. Be relaxed.
