I attended PA at Chennai Consulate on Aug 3rd. Here goes the conversation
Me : Good Evening Mam
She : Shook her head, Asked to place my left and right index finger
Me : I did
She : Give the receipt for $100 which they gave at the entrance.Why did u not give this in the counter
Me : I was not asked to give it.
She : Where are u working
Me: --
She : Which Client
Me : --
She : Why do u want to leave current job and join this company
Me : to gain International experience
She : I am not convinced, u must be getting the experience with the client u work with
Ok, What is that u r going to do in this company in US
Me : Development testing and deployment as per the clients requirement
She : U r talking about the project life cycle, My question is Which project u will be working in US
Me: The company has decided to give me an offer based on my experience and skillset.The projects will be revealed once I join the company.
She : I am still not convinced why u leave current job and join another company
Me: I don't have any onsite chances via current employer since it is outsourced here
She : So u r desperate in traveling to US. I want to see u r identity with current employer.
Me : Gave current employer's offer letter and my business card
She : How long u r associated with this employer
Me : past 2 years
She : Have u worked in any other companies beofre this
Me : yes, 3 other companies gave the offer and releving order of the same
She : Asks for my degree certificate
Me : Gave my MCA degree and AMIE/BBA
She : Scanned for something in the doc in the equipment placed closer by and returned it back
after a silence
She : What project are u going to work in the company.
Me : That will be decided once I join the company. I have the letter given by the company to the counslate would u like to see it.
I gave the Employment offer and the letter given to the counsalate
She : I am not convinced with this,this doesnot answer my question. I can not approve a visa with these details
Please get these documents and reappear for PA. FYI u need not get appointment from
TTS services u can step in directly.
She was very keen in knowing the details abt the project am guin to work in US, client,
headcount and duration of the project.
