2nd Infopass
So today I had a second infopass at 26 Federal Plaza in New York City and what a mess.
The lady that was helping me checked the system and told me that my adjustment of status is still pending. I showed her the 3 letters confirming my approval that the officer gave me the day of the interview and also showed her the green card stamp on my passport that I got on my first infopass. She got mad and asked who stamped the passport because it shouldn’t have been stamped because I wasn’t approved. I told her the lady told me that day that it was approved, but she insisted that it wasn’t, that the system says pending review. She gave me a paper to fill out and told me she would submit it in the floor where I had my interview and also she said that she couldn’t see in the system who did my interview. My lawyer has told me that the name of the interviewer is on the system but the lady said it is not.
I will renew my EAD as soon as possible and I will contact congressman and ombudsman.
They are just playing with the people feelings.
