Interview Completed: Case Needed For Review. Is It Normal?
Hi all, I have been a silent reader of this forum and I want to say you guys are the bomb. I just have my interview on Monday and it was OK. The IO, an African American woman, was professional and at the same time friendly. The interview lasted about 45 mins and there were lots of questions asked. We were not approved on the spot which was a little disappointing.
At the end she said she was going to issue me an RFE and that I will get the letter in the mail. This morning I was awoke by text message entering my phone that my cases were updated. With a beating heart, I check my cases online and I saw "Interview Was Completed And My Case Must Be Reviewed" for both I-485 and I-130.
My question is, is this normal because I was expecting the update to read "We issued you a RFE" for form I-485 and for the I-130 to be approved.
Please guys, if you have experienced this type of update, kindly share it. How did it end and how long did it take to get a decision?
