We are planning to go to India with my Minor Child and she is having a US Passport and Indian Visa. We would like to apply for OCI through VFS portal. We would like to ask regarding OCI card. As per our discussion with VFS team they told us that after verification they will return the child’s US passport within 4-5 days and then after OCI card will be received in 4-6 weeks at our address through mail.
Our query is that can we travel to India after receipt of US passport back from VFS (on INDIAN Visa) and our parents will be coming to India after two months. Can they bring my child's OCI card with them to India while my baby is with us in India ?
we are planning to go india in December 2020. Validity of Indian Visa is up to January 2021 and our stay will be up to March 2021 in INDIA. so after then for return we have our new OCI with us to show them at INDIAN immigration. can we do like this ?
