Acceptable replacement for orignal document???
Hi everyone!

So I had my interview scheduled for July 24 (12/28/16 PD, ATL, GA) and in my letter, the pretty said I need to bring everything, lol.

The thing is, I don't have the original of one of my forms. I came here on an F1 Visa, and so each year, before I went home, my Dean of International Students had to sign my I-20 form, pretty much verifying that I was still enroled.

Somewhere along the line, I misplaced it. I was able to get the photocopies that my school made of the form each year, and I sent copies of those copies in with my AOS packet. The form said I need my original and copies of all documents associated with the Visa I entered on, or else the would have to keep my originals.

I guess what I want to know, should I maybe have that Dean write an affidavit swearing that he signed my form every where, in lieu of the original I 20? I'm not sure if I trust USCIS enough to call and ask after the runaround I got with my EAD. HAs anyone experienced anything like this?

Also, I would have to get my medicals updated since I did them before the gonorrhea requirement, right? (my forms aren't set to expired until just after my interview)

Thanks!
