Thank you to all that posted here their experience. This web site was the motivation that was needing to go ahead and make the attempt, also prayer and my husbands and mother full support on this. I was so nervous , scared and happy at the same time , I was finally going to see my ill grandmother who was about to pass away but thanks to god I got her blessings for my family and my mom. I also got to see my older brother who I had not seen for 16 years. It was so great going back and seen where I come from and you realize how blessed you are to be in the united states.

I traveled in Bush International airport to San Luis Potosi Airport. You just have to show them your passport and your employment card . You arrive and Mexico has you fill out a paper. make sure to put the day like the do in Mexico . Day / Month/ Year if not they make you fill it out all over again.
They were so welcoming and just declare everything you have other than clothing and shoes. I had purchased my return tickets as well in Houston from Obnibus I wanted to experience both airplane and bus . it was awesome spending time with my family in San Luis Potosi. I only schedule my trip from Friday to Sunday . I arrived on Friday at 11 and came back on Saturday at 10:00pm arriving to Houston on Sunday at 7:00PM yes it was a 22 hour trip.

I would never go back in a bus. If you have the money to travel in an airplane do it!! As we were riding in the bus my husband and I we didn’t carry no more than 500 pesos just to be save because of all the things your hear. When we got to the border in Puente I the bus was directed down to where all the buses stop and we waited for lik e 25 min until it was our turn to get off with all our belongings even the ones under the bus. We then had to check in with some officers who where very nice , they greeted my husband and I . I handed my passport employment card and AP Papers .
He than directed me to the line where they give out permits to travel to USA . To tell you the truth I wasn’t nervous I prayed for strength and god was always present. I waited in that line for 2 hours I got to the offices inside a office and he didn’t know how the AP worked so he sent me up to Puente II to get stamped .

There was this young lady who was great at multi tasking and the officers told her I was sent to get stamped she was a little ticked off at the officer down stairs because that could have been done there too but she was nice to me and told me to wait . I waited but 30 min passes and I was worried the bus might leave me. I gather the guts and politely ask if It was going to take any longer because the bus was waiting for me. She freaked out she was like omg didn’t know you were on the bus come let me do this for you. Asked me my address in Houston and to take down my finger prints looked at the screen examine my AP my employment card and passport then stamped both AP paper and another white paper handed the white paper and one AP paper and called the officers to escort me back down to my bus. My heart was beating so hard so happy I wanted to jump but of course I had to behave and my husband was waiting for me at the bus. Don’t be nervous pray and be firm with your answers. There is nothing to be scared of. God will bless you and you will be back in no time.
