Advance Parole Travel
I wanted to share my experience, after reading many posts here I decided to apply for AP, My AOS has been pending since October 9, 2020, I had not applied for AP because every lawyer advises not to travel. I have not been to my country in 16 years and I decided to travel. I applied September 1st and received the AP document on September 30th (not a combo card) just the AP document, I already had my work permit.

I am adjusting through marriage, I had DACA before.

I only traveled for a week and came back yesterday 10/25/2020. I entered through ATL airport. I showed my passport and AP to customs, In the first window they asked me what was the motive of my visit. I told them I live here and showed them my documents, they sent me to a different window and asked me to sit. I probably waited for about 15 mins, I was not asked anything at all or taken to a different room, they asked me to sit in a general area. They stamped my passport and AP document. The agents were really nice.

Thank you all who shared their experiences and gave me the courage to travel.

Let me know if you have any questions.
