Good morning immihelp family. If you apply for your SSN and do not receive it by the date stated on the letter. Please return to the SSN office immediately!
1. It could be that they have to verify your info with USCIS which may take weeks or months
2. Employee error, as in my case, the application was left hanging in the system
3. Please make sure that the letter given to you is signed. In my case this was the first thing the rep said to me. "Your receipt should have been signed". " It should have been signed!"
Anyway she processed me and I asked for the actual number until I receive the card. So just waiting to receive it in the mail now.
