Advice needed desperately
Hi,
We had our relationship interview on Jan 27th, so my I-130 was approved, now they sent an RFE for, because I still need to do my medical in order to get the green card, the RFE Request for evidence letter says I need to send ALL information to them by April 27th and if I don’t it will result in a denial.
I have a 6 month old baby at home so I don’t go it in the freezing cold in Feb to do the medical as I thought I have March to do it, but now with all the Coronavirus stuff going on I don’t know what to do, I really don’t want a denial. But to not get a denial it basically means I have to go to the doc appointment on April 1st in the midst of the Coronavirus outbreak to get the medical done exposing myself and then exposing my now 7 month old when I get home to whatever I may or may not catch,
My question is, do we know if there are any extensions or exceptions for this situation. what if I get it done later in April or May and 5en send it in with a letter of explanation. I don’t want them to think I’ve abandoned my case so I could send a letter in advance but just really don’t know what to do or what might happen. Any advice appreciated, especially if there’s anyone on here who works for USCIS,
