Hi!
I came to USA with my wife in 2012, she is american citizen, we decided to get married and we did in March 2013, we did not have the money to file the documents so we saved money while I worked freelance online doing gigs, so after a year when we collected the money we filed the documents with an attorneys help, in March 15 2014, we submitted all the requested documents and did all the bio-metrics.
In July 15 we had the interview, where the officer requested more evidence of our marriage, we had a deadline of 3 months, so we collected everything, even bills of restaurants, flowers, every single picture we had, all the bank statements from the last 5 years, all the letters from all the friends, and we sent it by 10 of September 2014.
We haven't hear anything back, we submitted an inquiry a month ago, but they say that they still don't know how longer will it take. So today I am worried, I have my work permit, but most of the excuses say when they interview me is "Can you call us back when you get your Greencard?", also, my grandfather died last September, and I could not travel back to say good bye.
Anybody here knows what I could do? can I request other interview or if my lawyer should do something?
