Answer to service request
So I had made a service request on 4/17/17 after the 77th day for my husband's EAD on phone. Today, in the mail, I received a letter from NBC that my case is under normal processing time and they apologize for any misunderstanding. What they should be really apologizing for is playing with people's emotions and lives. They can process the useless answer for a service request within days but when it comes to moving the case forward, they take forever and keep moving slowly on our cases. They give excuses on the phone that there is a hiring freeze and we are understaffed. It is none of our concern if USCIS is understaffed, that is something they should be prepared for and be accountable for. Seriously, this process is very frustrating. Hats off to people who have the patience to wait for years, you guys are very strong and I don't know how you do it. I am getting anxious within 4 months only! God's speed to everyone and I hope we all hear some good news next week!
