AOS interview experience - Ohio
I had my AOS interview yesterday (10/18) in Columbus, OH. My case timeline can be found on one of my earlier posts.

Interview was scheduled for 1:45 pm. We checked in around 1:10 pm and were sitting in the waiting room. Our attorney showed up just in time for the appointment. We were separated from the beginning. First, I was called in at 1:55pm and was there for about 25 minutes. I walked into the ISO's office with my attorney.

She asked me to keep all the evidence on her desk (which she did not look at during the entire interview). She sweared my in and started asking yes/no questions from I-485.
Then she asked me to verify my full name, DoB, citizenship, country of birth, etc.

The second part of the interview was about about my marriage and relationship. Here are the questions:-

-When did i come to the US and on what visa
-What city did I enter US from
-How many times i have travelled in or out of US
-Questions about my master's program
-What's my wife's full name
-Wife's DoB
-How did we meet
-Who proposed
-Who else were there during the proposal
-When did we get married
-where did we get married
-Who all were there at the wedding
-What did we do after the wedding
-How many bedrooms in the house
-what type of house it is? apartment or house?
-What's the rent?
-What kind of cars do we drive
-Does your wife have any siblings and where do they live?
-What's her parents names and if i have met them
-Do I have any relatives in the US?

She raised her eyebrows on the question "What did we do after our wedding?".
It was just two of us who went to courthouse and got married and We didn't do anything after the wedding - no dinner or lunch or anything. We just went back to work.
Reason: We have a reception planned next year for celebrations. All the evidence related to venue booking, photographer contract, wedding dress receipt, caterer contract was included in my evidence bundle. So I was not worried about it at all.

Before ending the interview she asked if I have any questions? My lawyer interrupted and said he wants to change answers to one question on 485.
"Have you ever worked in the US without authorization?". Initially I said "No" which I wanted to change to "Yes". I explained her that I drove Uber/Lyft for a little while to make ends meet.
My lawyer said that we don't want to misrepresent any facts and this should not make me inadmissible being married to US citizen. The ISO sarcastically said "You are telling me what I already know".

She explained that she's new in the position and she does not have authority to approve cases and that she needs to consult with her superior.
At the end she handed over a paper that said "your case is being held for further review.............."

Then she walked me out and walked my wife in. My wife spent about ten minutes. She was asked the same questions (not all the above but just few) and I can confidently say our answers were consistent.

After the interview, my attorney said we did pretty well and everything was consistent. The ISO may take a couple of days to consult with her boss for approval but it should be approved in a few days or few weeks.

Now, the real anxiety and waiting game begins. I have not received my EAD or AP till now. There is no change in online status for any applications. 485 status says "Interview was scheduled". 765 status says "Case was received on 8/2".
