I am petitioning for my mother for IR5 visa and case is at NVC. Looking at the required document list on the NVC profile of my mom, it has Petitioner Marriage certificate.
I am divorced (7 years ago) and do not have marriage certificate with me. would it be acceptable to provide NVC the divorce certificate instead?
Has anyone came across this situation before?
