Applying for SSN during pandemic
Hello everyone!
Has anyone tried applying for SSN in the last three months? I applied for my AOS (marriage-based) through my lawyer and for some reason she ticked NO on the I-765 form asking if I want a SSN :-(
Appreciate if you can share your experience on how the process is for first time SSN applicants.

07/27/2020 - Lawyer sent AOS package to NBC (concurrent filing: I-485, I-130, I-765, I-131, I-944, I-693)
07/31/2020 - Case PD
08/24/2020 - Received Notice of Actions for Forms I-485, I-130, I-765, I-131
08/28/2020 - Received Notice for Biometrics Appointment (I-765)
09/10/2020 - Completed Biometrics
11/25/2020 - I-765 case status changed to Card/Document Production
11/27/2020 - I-765 and I-131 approved
12/01/2020 - EAD combo card was mailed
12/04/2020 - EAD combo card in hand
