Austin Application Experience
Hi, when I applied for my US citizenship after 5 years (not married to US citizen), I read a lot everyones experiences, so now it is time for me to share with you.
July 11 / 18 Applied for US citizenship online in Austin, and got assigned the San Antonio office
July 14 / 18 Biometrics Appointment Scheduled in Austin
August 1 / 18 Biometrics reviewed by USCIS in Austin
February 12 / 19 Final interview Scheduled to take place in San Antonio
March 19 / 19 Interview passed in San Antonio, and now waiting for my Oath Naturalization Ceremony (probably in Austin)
When I started the process, it said "15 months to completion", but everything has been very fast, and it has taken approx. 8 months.
Additional note: I thought my process would have taken longer, because of an arrest that got dismissed, but apparently San Antonio does process really fast.
