B1/B2 visa interview
Hey everyone,
I have my parents’ B1/B2 visa interview coming up next month, and I wanted to check if anyone has faced a similar situation before. I have a couple of questions while filling out their DS-160 forms:
1. My mom runs a YouTube channel where she posts some general content. Should I mention that anywhere in the DS-160 form, or just skip it since it’s more of a personal hobby?
2. My dad served in the Indian Army for over two decades and is now working as a central government employee in another department. Should I include all of that in the employment section, or only his current job?
3. There’s also a question about firearm experience — since my dad was in the Army, he does have some experience, so should we mark that as “Yes” and explain briefly, or keep it “No” since he’s no longer in service?

Would really appreciate any insights or suggestions if anyone has gone through a similar case before. Thanks in advance!
