B2 Interview experience
Alhamdulillah got my B2 visit visa, thanks to immihelp community. I am a Pakistani, 27 years old, living in Saudi Arabia. I planned my trip, booked air tickets and hotels and updated all the information in DS-160 form and applied through Riyadh Consulate.

I arrived at embassy at around 7.30 am, the security guy said me that you are a little early and I had to wait for about 45 minutes to get in. After security check I got my ticket number and then waited for my appointment. After about an hour I got my turn. The VO was a black american, this is how my interview went with him

Me: Good Morning
VO: (Didn't bother to reply) Asked me for passport

I gave him my passports

VO: Put your fingers on the scanner
Scanned all fingers and thumbs

VO: Literally, threw my passport at the window and asked me to go to another window for finger prints.

At this time, I was appalled at his rude behavior and the way he threw my passports but I kept my calm and went to another window. I scanned my fingers again in next counter and was asked to wait outside for interview. My turn came after an hour. So this is how my interview went:

ME: Good Morning
VO: Morning (Yep, This guy replied back, not all VOs are same)

VO: Why are you going to US
ME: I am travelling to UK for vacations and from there I will go to US with my cousin for tourism.

VO: Your visa occupuation is Computer Technician on your Iqama(Saudi Resdident Permit), so what is your job role.
ME: I am working as a Technical cosultant in xxxxx company

VO: What is your job salary?
ME: Told him my salary as mentioned on DS-160

VO: For how long you are in Saudia?
ME: I am here for nearly 2.5 years/

VO: After typing for few seconds on computer, I am approving your visa, you will get your passport in few days.
ME: Thankyou

The interview lasted only for a minute and most of the times VO was not even looking at me but was busy with his computer. The key for visa success is your DS-160 form, fill it with all genuine information as they will only confirm this information in the interview.
