Hi everyone,
Need some input on of my B2 can be approved without a full time job in my home country/India. I was in the US on a F1 Visa and used my one year OPT with a company. My H1 petition got denied and I had to return back as I chose not to do CPT. I had to apply for a B1 for a tradeshow in Jan but my visa was denied and the reason was not having strong ties with the home country. Although I'm indian and my family lives in India, I was rejected after the VO asked me about my birth country. I'm born in the middle East. Now my boy friend is graduating this may but he's on a H1 visa. I would like to go for his graduation but I'm worried that my visa will be denied. I continue to consult for the company I worked with in the US but remotely from India. Any idea how I could prove strong ties with India and a temporary visit intent? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
