B2 visa approved after 1st refusal
I am so happy to share my experience to all as I was approved of B2 visa on second interview after refusal last week (see my post here last 31/5). I am in spouse visa in London.

The time I was refused, we really can't understand why. He didn't even see any document (a common moan on applicants). And after thinking and researching the internet like this site, we decided to book an appointment again the soonest I was available.

Though I am intimidated of the comments that it is risky to apply very soon since nothing has changed in your status as they say, and that it will ring a bell to them that you seem desperate and might have a real intention of migrating there, I still wanted to try again. I gathered all good tips esp. the letter (as I saw in this site). I have it addressed from my partner to show a joint effort(as we are both visiting the US) and to show his part of the reasons of coming back.

During the interview, I really insisted that he read the letter first as the consul started talking fast already. He took time anyway to read, and later he was talking to me in reference of the letter, and some other questions, like the ridiculous... "why does your partner have relatives in the US?" Anyway, I liked him being a bit stupid as I seemed to be in control. lol!

Sweetest words I can't forget..."Congratulations!Your visa is approved. Bring the blue slip in the courier counter outside."

My advise to all applying and reapplying: read first, read and prepare a lot before you do it. And yes, better present all right in the first time, or try harder the next time, esp. your "ties," as I think they're just too quick they miss out other information about you.

Good luck!
