B2 Visa Denial, need another solution
Hello,
I am a US citizen and my sweetheart is a Nigerian. He went for his B2 Visa interview on Monday and was denied based on 214b. not sure how he can overcome that, he does not own his home, he's young and single. We are thinking we might have a better chance of seeing one another if I get a Visa to go see him instead. I have more issues though, single, no children, not a lot of income, no real estate in my name, no travel history to speak of, only Canada and that was before a passport was even needed to go there from the US, my age might be in my favor, but not really,not sure how they consider mid 50's, that may be the only thing in my favor. Since I am a US citizen trying to visit Nigeria will they be less likely to think I'm trying to migrate there? We want to do Fiance Visa but we have to meet physically before we can apply. We need advise as to how to get to that initial physical meeting. Any in-site one may have on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank You In Advance!
