B2 visa interview experience delhi
Had the interview today.I want to share my experience and feedback so that others can be benefitted.

1.In Delhi, the mobile phone and remote car keys can be kept in safe custody outside the consular gate.Only problem is parking your car.You have to park at a nearby place, say near Ashoka hotel or Nehru park and walk down.
2.If they give you time 0930 hours,be there atleast one a half hours before, better still two hours before i.e.at 0730 hours.Time given is only for interview and the time for all the routine checks, formalities etc.consume a lot of time.Even though UStraveldocs website and the appointment letter tells you to come just 15 minutes before.DO NOT FOLLOW.If they give the time for 1130,be there at 0930 hours.I was given 0930 time,i landed there at 0830 hours, thinking that i was too early.,but unfortunately i was shocked to find that by that time, the 1000 hours people were proceeding for completing formalities.
3.Spend time in understanding the visa procedures and the contents of DS 160.I will strongly advise and recommend everyone to fill DS 160 themselves,so that they are aware of the importance of each data.Once you fill yourself, you are confident and will be able to answer the questions by the officer. In my case,i spend more than two weeks(of course in the nights only)in understanding and practicing to fill DS 160,and that had the ultimate effect of the words"Your visa has been approved".
4.Be confident in whatever you say.
5.Be clear of your intentions, travel, medical etc.

All the best.
