Hello all,
I have read a few experiences for B1/B2 and it was helpful. Wish to share mine.
A brief about myself:
25 years old, Single Hijabi muslim female
Countries visited - UK, Germany, Switzerland.
Indian Passport.
Interview time 9AM 10th Oct 2017
Reached the consulate in mumbai - 8:30 AM (My mother was waiting outside on opposite road with my things, no electronics allowed!)
Total time spent - 1.5 hours
Interview time - 6 minutes
VO - GM, can I take your passport pl?
Me- Sure, slided the passport over.
VO - Why do you wish to go to USA?
Me - To visit my uncle's family, grandma and tourism (Uncle is my mother's cousin who sent my the sponsor and IT docs)
VO - How long as your uncle been in USA?
Me - 26 years now.
VO - How long do you wish to see him? (Actual question was, when did you see him)
Me - 16 days, later corrected it to July (was scared here as mistakes are no good!)
VO - Where have you been outside of India?
Me - UK, Switzerland, Germany
VO - How many stamps do you have in your passport?
Me - 3
VO - Why 3?
Me - 2 * UK visa, and 1 * EU visa (1*UK and 1*EU expired now. 1 Valid UK visa)
VO - Where did you visit in EU (This was repeated!)
Me - Switzerland and Germany
VO- What do you work as?
Me - Gave a nice description of my work (very important to give good explanation as its a strong tie to country)
VO - How long have you been working with ZZZ?
Me - 4 and a half years now. (This is when he reacted, all this time he had a flat face without any expressions!)
TYPING for AGEEEESS..............................................................................
Passed a white slip over (me, gaye beta aaj toh, mistake mehengi padi!!)
TYYYYYYPINGGG..................................................................(2 minutes of deadly silence!)

We with a WIDE smile...THANK YOU!! and walked off..............
A few points I wish to share....
Your DS 160 is the MOST IMP thing. Write about a page where description is asked. I described my work as much as I could.
And rest is luck.
