Hi all wanted to give you an update after my interview today.
Submitted my application to the Brooklyn field office based on a 5-year rule on July 25, 2024.
Receipt Notice - July 25, 2024.
Biometric Reuse Notice - July 25, 2024.
Interview Scheduled Notice - August 16, 2024.
Interview Date is - October 5, 2024.
Approved on the spot - October 5, 2024.
I was asked if I am willing to take an oath immediately, I replied - Yes. Then I was taken to the oath ceremony immediately and received my certificate of Naturalization.
All in all it took me an hour to be interviewed and to become a U.S. citizen, just in time to vote!
My journey to become a US citizens ends here but I will be back on this forum as I am planning to petition to reunite with my family in the future. I will make sure to post my experience here when I do.
I would like to wish everyone who is on the same journey lots of luck and I hope your timeline moves as quick as mine!
