Can police verification be done without aadhar card?
Hi guys, so after three and a half months my passport application was granted on pre police verification basis. Police verification was initiated last week. My question is that I dont have aadhar card. I have been continuously living in USA for 11 years. What happens in police verification? What questions do they asks? What documents are required and how long does it take? My father living in India visited the local police station. The constable took 2000 rupees from my father and called him back in two days with aadhar card and pan card. What happens if I dont have either documents? I have my state ID and work permit here and my old passport is already expired. I had provided electricity bill of my father's address in India. Can anyone give some insight?
