card ordered 2 mo after the interview
I am so happy!!! Just checked my online status and its states "On August 5th we ordered your new card....!!!!"
Just to recap: PD-Nov 8th; EAD received-March 15th (after 2 SR's), interview in Los Angeles office- June 1st (was told I may get a RFE for a minor issue with medicals......), called USCIS about my status on Aug 3rd (was given the usual waiting time after interview can be as long as 180 days...). Today (Saturday of all days) I just randomly checked my status, hopeless as usual, thinking I'll see the same "your interview was scheduled...."........but, nooooooo, card is in production. I am so happy and so ready to see my family after 3 years.
