EAD (WorkPermit)

Yesterday I finally got an update on my I-765 application. After following the testimonies in this forum it was hard to predict what would happen. When there is no real order and it seems that your case can be skipped the insecurity just grows. I did notice that in the past month or so, cases that have had their i-485 updated to "case ready to be scheduled for interview" would get their I-765 approved after 1 to 2 months. This is what happened to me: 48 days after the status change in the I-485 my I-765 status changed to new card being produced. There were no updates prior to that, just case received. Anyway, there is no science in this process, but sometimes it helps to have a general idea of what's going on.

My timeline, marriage to USC, NBC, applied from Baltimore, MD:
08/09 - Case received 485, 130, 131, 765
08/13 - Biometrics scheduled notice
09/03 - Biometrics appointment
10/25 - 485 update to "case is ready to be scheduled for interview"
12/12 - 765 new card is being produced
12/12 - 131 and 765 case approved and notice sent

Now I am waiting for the card to be delivered. Based on other people's experience it should take up to a week. Can't wait to visit my family in the beginning of January!
