CASE DENIED
Got married to a USC in November 2016. Applied for AOS in March 2017. Got EAD in June 2017 and had the 1st interview in January 2019; all in Florida. Received a RFE in March 2019, requesting for my final divorce certificate from my previous marriage before coming to US. I sent that in April, 2019.
Was again called for another interview November 2019 and we were interviewed separately, of which we didn't have all the answers correctly. . . but we have every other proofs of genuine union such as leases together, joint bank accounts, more than 100 picture album, joint tax filings etc. Asides that the so called marriage is strained at that time, we were just patching up to make it work as at then. Hence, the denial decision came on the 15th March, 2020 just about the time the pandemic started.
Was given 33 days to appeal or otherwise the decision becomes final and advised to leave the country.
However, my spouse had moved out of our place of residence since January 2020 just before the decision came out.
I am perplexed and do not know what to do or options I've got.
Been in a relationship already since my marriage has been strained ever since. This lady is a USC and wants to file for me now. I'm trying to get a divorce from the marriage and re-marry.
I have so much fear in me and what the future holds with all of these pasts.
Guys, please enlighten me on moving forward. Thanks.
