Case Inquiry - Outside Normal Processing time
Hi guys,
Yesterday I called USCIS to know when they will start scheduling interviews and where is my current case. I did not get a definite answer for interview rescheduling, but they said my case is outside normal processing time (interesting because per website I am still within the processing time) and started an inquiry. I wanted to find out if starting an inquiry will not hurt my case. How does the process work and how quickly will I receive a response.
My application is waiting for interview schedule since January, 2020. PD Date: Oct 2019, AOS married to USC. Field Office: Louisville, KY
Any suggestion or feedback would be appreciated.
