Case referred to NVC
My case (i-130) was approved and referred to NVC on 05/09/20. On 05/14/20 (less than a week) I already received the welcoming letter from them. NVC let me require the 12 steps process and would schedule my interview appointment at the embassy of my country of origin (Haiti).
I-130 was receiving on 12/06/19
I-485 and I-765 were received around 01/10/20. Biometrics applied on 03/12/20
I am confused, why is my case transferred to NVC while I applied for adjustment of status being in the USA currently?
Would you please help me understand?
