Case Was Approved
Hi everyone,

I have been a silent and anxious reader for a long time now. It finally feels like my almost ten year green card journey is towards the end now. I wanted to share my timeline so that it may be helpful to anyone who may be on the same boat:

F1 to F2B

AOS PD: April, 2017

Interview in Newark, NJ: Late January 2018

Interview went smoothly and the officer was super nice, but the officer gave me the infamous white paper.

No change in notification after that. Case status was stuck in "Interview was scheduled".

April, 2019: Allowed to finally raise SR.

Late April, 2019: RFE for expired medical (which is expected after such a long time of no responses)

May, 2019: Case was Approved.

Waiting for green card to be produced now. Good luck to everybody else.
