Changing Lawyers- ANY RISK
Hi all,
I have a pending I-485/I-130/131/I-765 application. My current lawyers were from my employer. They are also terrible in responding back and really provide no guidance or clarity. Post receipt of my EAD, I am planning to change my job, and me and my husband will relocate to New Jersey (we currently live in California). Hence I am looking to hire a new lawyer, but I am concerned if that will in anyway negatively impact my current case (the 485 is ready to be scheduled for interview). Has anyone done it at a similar stage? Can you please share if that was a good decision?
