Chennai Consulate - B2 Experience
Hi Folks,

This is the first time i had been to a Visa Interview. Thanks to the site, for helping me gather all the required documents. After long hours of waiting in the bus-stand and the interview line, finally it was my turn to check my eligibility. The Consulate officer had asked me for the following questions.

1. For how long have u been working with MNC ?
A. I have been working for the last 1 year 10 months.

2. For how many days are you planning to go to the US?
A. Three weeks.

3. Why only 3 Weeks?
A. I have an approved leave for 3 weeks from my company . (Show the approved leave letter).

4. Can i have the appointment letter ?
A. I dint have the appointment letter. But luckily i had the Original Reference Letter from my company stating that i have been working since xyz date as pqr. The Officer was satisfied with that.

5. Which project are you working for?
A.Told him the details about my project.

The officer said that my visa has been approved and that it would reach me in 2-3 days.
