-10/20/2021 Application is being verified and currently under process at the VFS Indian Consular application Centre
-10/21/2021 Application has been processed and currently in transit to the Embassy of India/Consulate General of India for decision making
-10/21/2021 Application has reached at the Embassy/Consulate and is currently under review process
-10/22/2021 Date of acknowledgment
-11/15/2021 Documents printing status: Processed
-11/16/2021 Dispatched from MEA (OCI) New Delhi
-11/16/2021 Document received at Chicago
-11/17/2021 I emailed [email protected] for a status update
-11/19/2021 I received an email from VFS Global stating my OCI card will be dispatched on 11/22/2021 (as the office was closed on 11/19/2021)
-11/22/2021 I received an email from VFS Global with Fed Ex tracking number with
Ship date: 11/22/2021 and estimated delivery date: 11/23/2021 by 8:00 pm
-11/23/2021 OCI card was DELIVERED!!
36 days from submitting my application to OCI card being delivered!!!!!!
I communicated a lot through email [email protected] and was able to get status updates on my OCI card.
