Citizenship interview/Oath Ceremony
Hello everyone, I had my citizenship interview appointment on June 16th at the USCIS Newark field office. My application was recommended for approval by the officer. However, the officer told me that I will need to do my oath ceremony at the USCIS Long Island field office since I am residing at my new address (in NY). I used to live in NJ and that was why I had my interview in the Newark field office (I did change my address on the USCIS website, but I didn't get any notice for the change of my interview appointment). The officer also asked me to contact the USCIS Long Island field office directly by a letter to expedite the process which I did. I have not heard from the USCIS long Island filed office since my interview (around 3 month). I am wondering if anyone who may have had a similar experience because of change of address in the middle of this process can share theirs.
