Folks - Just wanted to share H1/H4 reval stamping experience in Ciudad Juarez.
I availed Victor Garica's services and strongly recommend the same to others. As usual, flew to El Paso, stayed in Econo lodge, picked up by VG around 7.45 am (gave us the bank receipts, no permits needed), he took us straight to Holiday Inn on the Mexico side to drop the bags first and then to Consulate.
Try to leave all the liquids, phones, make-up etc in the bags before going to consulate. Otherwise, you will end up paying $5 for a locker. After we passed the security, they collected the application forms in a counter and then finger prints in a diff counter. Then, waited for the interview. One thing to note here is, we had a baby, so we were treated very well, we were let go first everywhere and by giving seats inside to avoid cold outside. We waited almost an hour for our turn. Two questions asked by the officer were: did you had any issues with law or immigration and are you working for the same company. She then said, your Visa is approved and asked us to pick up tomorrow. If you have a baby in hand or at home, you can request for the same day and they do give, but make sure you will be able to prepone the flights. One other girl with us who had the baby at home got the passport the same day, but couldn't change her flight(airlines asked her for extra $900 to prepone) and ended up staying 2 extra nights like others. We didn't request anyway. We were out by 9.30 am local time and walked to Holiday Inn where we dropped our bags. We waited for couple of hours as the check in time was 12 noon. After checking in, we ventured out for lunch and stolled in the mall - nothing much there. Eat in the hotel, Subway or Mission Guadalupe(expensive), others are waste. In El Paso, try Carlos & Mickeys and Smittys BBQ (not for vegetarians though)
Next day, we ate breakfast at hotel, checked out and went to pick up the PP around 2 pm. (Don't go early and leave the stuffs I mentioned earlier in the hotel). Got the PP, took a cab to Cordova bridge, walked acroos to the Immi office - it was horrible with the baby, bags, sun and heat. On top of that we stood in the line for 2 hrs to get the I-94 (you will meet some of the worst of worst government working people who moves slower than snails and rude), finished the security and called Garcia. We alredy missed our flight and had to goto airport anyways to book for the next day (don't book flight before 7 pm El Paso time). Stayed in Econo lodge again and flew back home the next day morning.
If your name end up going thru security check, don't worry, you will be given a 60 day reentry permit to enter back into US and a later day appt again.
All in all it was good except for the US immi experience.
