Completed the process
Hi Guys,
I have completed the process and received my naturalization certificate yesterday (sept 20).
Compared to what other people in this forum are facing, my case was a breeze.
The entire process took less than 4 month.
Here is my timeline:
I filed on June 8th
had fingerprint on July 7th
had interview on august 25
had oath on sept 20
In my observation, the case for people with IOE receipt number are moving fast.
I didn't apply online but got IOE receipt number. How? I don't know.
I was actually worried when I got a IOE receipt number with all the FBI/ELIS fiasco of last year. (ELIS wasn't sending correct info to FBI for background check) But I can't believe how wrong I was to be worried.
Anyways, cheers and best of luck to all you filers. Hope you all get your citizenship soon.
