Hey all you guys, Thank you sooo much for all these experiences which made our preparation very easy and made ourselves more prepared for the interview. Thanks Immihelp for this wonderful forum!
Our interview was at 8 am and we were there by 7 am.. its always better be there early since there's a long queue and many procedures.
One important point for Husbands and wives going together - i did not know this earlier - husbands take care of each and everything for the wife.. wife should just accompany him.. husband should have all the documents, passport of his wife!
There are 13-15 counters, so, its fast moving. The VO in the our counter had just rejected a H4 and we were tensed.
Below were the questions VO asked us (hardly anything directly to my wife) -
1. Are you a MS in Computer Science from XYZ Univerty? (Brownie Points I think).
2. Why do you want to go to the US?
3. How did you get to know about this ABC Co.?
4. What's the strength of the company?
5. What's the turnover of the company?
6. How long have you been married (looking at my wife)?
7. Where did you get married?
She nodded and said, you will get your passport in 2 to 3 days. We were soo happe, despite me being so nervous!
That's all... NO DOCUMENTS CHECKED! .. It lasted for about 2 minutes. I suppose she saw our huge files and knew we have everything in place! Yes, PLEASE DO KEEP AL DOCUMENTS IN PLACE AS ITS VERY IMPORTANT!
