Visitors Insurance

NEVER EVER EVER use CORIS or anyone who is remotely connected to this shady company. Everything seems on the up and up but they claim not to have received proofs of payment that you send in the same envelope of other material that they admit to receiving; they lie and tell you that they have sent you a cheque, but ten days later, still nothing; they don't answer the phone or return calls. In short, after you fork out a bunch of money for the insurance, you pay for the medical services you receive, and you submit your claim. If you don't call them over and over, they don't do a thing about your claim. Also, they send out a small portion of the claim, and then they say that they "thought they were supposed to pay the other amount to the service provider." But, of course, they haven't yet sent out a cheque to the service provider. How convenient. Also, I was told that I would not have to pay anything up front, that the medical insurance would be accepted at the pharmacy, at the hospital, etc. What a load of bullsh....! In Croatia Merkur Osiguranje is the company that sells Coris-provided insurance. Think twice before shelling out the euros for it. You might even be better off without the insurance at all! Next time, I'll purchase local insurance provided at London Drugs. DON'T USE CORIS!!!!
