DACA-AP-AOS in Phoenix, AZ
My husband and I had our interview on May 8, 2018 (this past Tuesday).

My appointment was at 9:30 am but my husband and I got there about an hour early. It was pretty packed so I am glad we got there early. I went and checked in and then sat with my husband and waited. We were called in around 9:30ish, and as soon as we walked in the immigration officer immediately asked to verify our address to make sure the green card would be sent to the correct address. I looked at my husband and squeezed his hand out of excitement. Then the IO then asked us to take our oath asked to verify my name and dob and the same with my husband.

IO asked only ONE question regarding our marriage:
How did you guys meet?

We have two boys and in my application I sent a ton of evidence. We have been married for seven years and together for a total of 11 years. He is the beneficiary on all of my life insurance, we have health insurance together, a car, bills, bank statements, and so much more.

After asking how we met, the IO then asked me some of the questions on the I-485 application. He didn't ask me about my trip, he only wanted to know if I had left the country prior to receiving AP, which I never had. I was brought to the US when I was about one or two and have been here in the US since. I only did AP in December of 2017 and that was for a school trip. He also wanted to know if I remember how my family migrated here and I told him I honestly don't remember just that I was young and I know it was without inspection. Once I answered all the questions, he okay everything looks good, you have a beautiful family. He asked if I wanted to show him anything and I said no except I did give him 4 pictures from our family album, and he kept them. He didn't ask to see any of my original documents. He then said he would be approving my green card and should receive my card in 4 weeks.

Today (5/11/18) I received an email that my card for my I-485 is on it's way.

Good luck to everyone here. This forum has been extremely helpful and has also left me feeling comfort in times of need. Thank you all!!!
