Dallas Field Office- Interview Experience
Hi guys, finally I had my marriage interview today at Dallas Field office.
My appointment was scheduled at 12:30pm. We went thru security checkpoint at 12:15 and got to the waiting area exactly at 12:30. Five minutes later, we got called by a male IO. He is nice and friendly. Then he took us to his office. He started sworn us in, asked for our IDs card and my passport. He also asked for our original marriage license and spouse's naturalization certificate. The interview lasted about 25-30 minutes. My spouse was a bit nervous, but the officer calm us down and told us this is just like a conversation, and be relax.

Question to my US citizen spouse ( petitioner):
What is his name? DOB? place of birth? and current address?
what is my name?
when and where did we get married ?
when and how we met?
when our relationship getting serious?
is it first marriage?
when and how was the proposal?
current employment?

Question to me (applicant)
what is my name? DOB? Place of birth?
what is my parents name?
what is my spouse name?
when and where did we get married?
Do I have any children?
do I work?
when was my last admission to the US?
how many entries that I made to the US?
Series of yes/no question?

Then he asked for any other evidence that we would like to submit. For evidence, I arranged everything in order:

Joint property deed
Most recent tax return
Receipt our wedding rings
Car registration renewal
Joint bank statements (checking, saving, credit card)
Joint utility bills
Joint insurance (life, auto, health)
Trips we took together
Flight and hotel confirmation
Costco membership
Gift receipt we bought for each other
Random mail pieces to each other
photos
ORIGINAL DOCUMENT THAT YOU SUBMITTED.
I gave him my medical exam, he went thru every pages and said it looked good. He said congratulation. He was going to approve my application, but there are a few steps he need to do. Then he took us to the exit.

Two hours after the interview, my i-485 status changed to " NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED".
I'm so blessed and happy at the moment.
I hope everyone gets good news soon.
