June 2019 Interview was scheduled
July 2 2019 Interview at 8.00 am
July 2 2019 I-485 New card being produced

My appointment interview at 8.00 am and we came at 7.30 am and we got call in at 8.20 am. The officer is kind of young gentlemen and friendly. The interview went smooth. At beginning he took my finger print and pictured. He opened all the application form and asked my husband his name, address, my name and where my husband work. He did the same to me. Then he asked when did we get married and my husband answer the day and place and we figured it out the officer and my husband went to the same high school near the court we get married ^^.The officer is so friendly and we knew that our house is the same area like him and his son goes to middle school near my house. Later he asked us just three question like when did the first time we meet? When are we officially dating ? and How did my husband propose me? We answered like we met at college and be friend since then but officially dated in 2015 and he ask where do we go to school? I said we went same college but different university and I told if you want to see our transcripts but he said he didn’t need that. Later, he asked if we have the evidences or pictures to show him. We gave him all evidences and photo album. He looked at all those things really quick. My husband explained right now we live in my mother in law’s house so we don’t have house leasing or papers and the officer said it was fine. He took our tax papers from last 2 years, bank statement and apartment leasing and make copy and 3 pictures in photo album. He said all it is done and ask if we had any questions to ask him. We said no and he gave us the white paper and said our case will need to be review up to 120 days. However, he said it will not be that long just few weeks and told us remember check our case status. Few hours later we received the notice the New card is being produced for I-485.

One the most important thing I learn from this forum is “Organizing all your document and evidences”. Really it helped a lot for us and officer as well. My evidences and documents we put separated folder with the name tag in the front. The officer went through the folder very quick even though he even did not look inside and he just wanted things he looked for. I think organizing your document help you get the good expression from the officer.

This kind of thing will make you paranoid sometime. Your mood changes like cosine graph ^^. I know waiting is so hard and it is very emotional and difficult but it is worth waiting. Good luck everybody in this forum. Feel free to ask me any questions
