I filed I-485 concurrent with I-130,
My PD date: 12/27/2016
Finger print date: 02/07/2017
Ready to schedule for interview: 02/10/2017
there is no update about my case until now.
I did request change my name from 02/07 and I just got a letter from National Benefit Center ask me to send my supporting documents for changing name on applications. However, it is not a request for evidence as I saw online. It is just a letter so I am confusing about if it will make a change of my PD date or not. Moreover, after nearly 1 week trying to fax them, finally I fax it successfully today before intending to mail it. ( they only provided fax number in the letter). Does anyone get something similar to mine?
The process of application is too long, I am very worry because my F-1 visa status will end soon in this May and I must decide that I want to pay another over $400 for OPT after graduation or hopefully I will get my EAD from GC earlier. I do not know what I should do anymore. Any recommendations?
