Delivering AP outside USA after departure
My wife's AP has been approved on Jan 9th but there is no update on production and mailing date. She needs to go see her dad who is hopitalized. We requested expedite required when submitting the documents on Nov22, but did a mistake that we didn't follow up with customer rep. But, I had a letter, supporting documents (health documents) and a note (please expedite- according to information on USCIS) included in the documents.

We called USCIS officer and the only response was 'wait' and the documents should be there within 30 days. I don't want her travel to be delayed.

Is there a risk if she leaves US without AP at hand (but its approved)? I can mail her to documents before she comes back. Also, she has been in US legally under F2 visa and she currently has TPS. There has been no instances of out-of status. Her F2 visa expired 6 months ago but her status has been maintained by I-20 as well as TPS.

Any suggestions - thanks
