Does interview scheduling really happen in order?
Hi all, just wondering if anyone has any confirmation on whether field offices really do schedule interview dates in order of priority/receipt date?

Based on my PD, I am due to be scheduled soon but I don't want to get my hopes up.

I am curious because nothing else in this process has happened in a logical first-come, first-serve basis. E.g., some people get their EADs in 3 months, some unlucky filers in a year. How do you even know that your case has been transferred from NBC to your local field office after its status changes to "Ready to Schedule Interview"?
